About Me

About Me

I am a 17 year old boy currently based in the Oxfordshire area. I am employed by Sahara Force India Formula 1 Team as a young apprentice engineer (I will talk in detail about that later on) and along with this I go to college once a week to further my skills.

Firstly I will talk about my job at Force India F1 Team. I am employed as a young apprentice engineer and started my two year scheme in September 2011. I move around the factory and spend time in each department  trying to learn the skills needed in each departments;

  • Wind Tunnel
  • Inspection
  • Sub Assembly
  • Composites
  • Machine Shop
  • Fabrication

I believe the above is a strong reason to be attracted to my blog as I can bring a knowledge to stories and explain new car designs.

Along with working at Force India I go to Oxford Cherwell Valley College (OCVC) to help further my skills in hand tools and machining and have had a lot of experience in Formula 1 working with Renault F1 Test team when my dad worked there as Test Team manager.

Finally I completed a full season with Addax GP3 Team as an extra pair of hands. We collect multiple points finished and a podium finish, coming 2nd in the second race at Silverstone.

If you have any questions about my job, college or anything else feel free to contact me on my blog or Tweet me;
